Frequently asked Questions

Eurocell fascia boards are designed to be user-friendly for confident DIYers. However, because installation involves working at height and ensuring proper integration with guttering and soffits, many customers choose a professional installer for safety and the best results. Read our installation guide to learn more and check the documentation for each product to ensure manufacturer guidelines are followed.

Our uPVC fascia boards can last 20-30 years. They’re resistant to rot, warping, and weather damage, and require minimal upkeep. For your peace of mind, we offer a 20-year guarantee against cracking, warping or discolouration.

To measure for fascia boards, simply measure the length of the roof edge where the boards will be fitted. For full replacement, also measure the height from the bottom of the rafters to just under the roof tiles. Don’t forget to account for joins, corners, and end caps, and it's always smart to add a little extra to allow for cuts and adjustments.

Capping boards (also known as ‘cap-over’ boards) are thinner and designed to be fitted over existing timber fascias that are still in good condition. Full replacement fascia boards are thicker, stronger, and used when replacing old timber completely. If the existing timber is damaged or rotting, full replacement is the way to go.
